The NP-40 Cell Lysis Buffer is intended for the lysis of mammalian adherent and suspension-cultured cells. This buffer is suitable for extraction of cytoplasmic proteins in mild, non-denaturing conditions. 

The Modified NP-40 Cell Lysis Buffer is intended for the lysis of mammalian adherent and suspension-cultured cells. This buffer is stronger than the standard NP-40 Cell Lysis Buffer.
