A biosensor for the IRE1-XBP1 arm of the UPR. Measure both the onset and reversal of ER stress from chemical stressor, genetic stressors, and more. This is an update to #U0900G and #U0901G. The bright mNeongreen fluorescent protein is produced when cells are undergoing ER stress, while the constitutively expressed Montana Painbrush RFP provides a marker for sensor expression and cell health. Measure green-only or green/red ratios with high signal-to-noise on plate readers or fluorescence imaging systems. Monitor living cells over time with no need to lyse or fix. Packaged in Montana Molecular's improved Big Sky BacMam vector. 15mL and 30mL sizes are also available.
