Azido-PEG4-MMAE is a synthetic antineoplastic agent coupled to an azide group by a PEG linker. The MMAE is a synthetic antineoplastic agent. It can be attached to a monoclonal antibody (mAb) which directs it toward cancer cells. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
