CAS Number: 118691-44-4Molecular Weight: 2273.07Salt Form: TFAPurity: >96%Sequence (3-letter): Cys-Phe-Gly-Ser-Arg-Ile-Asp-Arg-Ile-Gly-Ala-Gln-Ser-Gly-Met-Gly-Cys-Gly-Arg-Arg-Phe-OH [Cys1-Cys17]Sequence (1-letter): CFGSRIDRIGAQSGMGCGRRF-OHStorage: -20 °C or belowANP (4-24) is a 21-aa bioactive peptide found in frog heart extract with diuretic/natriuretic and vasorelaxant activities. Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (ANP) is a cardiovascular hormone which is synthesized in cardiac muscular cells. It is released in response to stretching of atrial walls Endothelin and stimulation of β-adrenoreceptors. ANP increases renal sodium excretion resulting in decreased expanded extracellular fluid volume (ECF). ANP is degraded by neutral endopeptidase (NEP).
