SARS-CoV M Protein - 50 µg

Within the last two decades, SARS and MERS coronaviruses emerged as global health concerns causing severe acute respiratory syndromes. In December 2019, a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was identified in Wuhan, Hubei province in China. The SARS-CoV genome encodes several structural proteins including the membrane protein (M Protein), which plays a role in viral assembly via its interactions with other viral proteins. This key viral protein is component of the viral envelope. SARS-CoV M protein shares a 90% protein sequence identity with the M protein from SARS-CoV-2. The M protein represents a valuable tool for diagnostic and vaccine production purposes.
