AMCA-PEG4-Mal is a AMCA dye linker containing a maleimide group, which selectively reacts with free thiol, sulfhydryl, or mercapto group via Michael addition to form a stable carbon sulfur bond. The hydrophilic PEG spacer arm increases water solubility as well as membrane permability. This dye is used for protein and peptide labeing. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
