14-(Amine-PEG3-ethylcarbamoyl)tridecanoic t-butyl ester has an amine group on a PEG linker with an alkane tail that has a t-butyl ester group. The amine group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde), etc. The t-butyl group can be deprotected under acidic conditions. This compound may also be used as a building block for lipids in nanotechnolgy and drug delivery. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
