The cells are then transitioned into a primary cell culture and subsequently aliquoted and frozen for preservation. It's crucial to note that HCASMC cultures undergo careful methods during isolation, ensuring that they remain untransformed and unmutated, maintaining characteristics reflective of their in vivo state. These primary cultures have a limited in-vitro lifespan. Each batch of HCASMC undergoes rigorous testing, specifically assessing their proliferative capacity.
