Provided in the form of a basal medium, it is ideal for culturing HSMC upon the addition of supplement mix components. The formulation is optimized for the initial seeding of 4,000 cells/cm², allowing growth up to confluence (approximately 90%). The use of feeder layers, matrix substrates, or additional substances is unnecessary. To address potential reductions in proliferative activity, we recommend utilizing the antibiotic supplement exclusively for freshly isolated cells.
