Expertise and flexibility: Customize your mRNA to your exact needs

Our experience allows us to tailor mRNA production to the specific requirements of each project, with a strong focus on achieving efficient transcription, translation, and product quality. From DNA template selection and sequence optimization to purification, capping, nucleotide modification and quality control, our flexible workflow can be adapted to the needs of your research and development program.

We provide research grade (RUO) RNA from 100 µg to 10 mg, for mRNA lengths of up to 10 kb, with multiple options available to customize your product.

From DNA template to optimized mRNA

Our mRNA synthesis process is compatible with a broad range of DNA starting materials, including customer-provided circular plasmids and linear DNA. Alternatively, you can use our optimized plasmid incorporating enhanced UTRs and a tailored poly(A) tail to support efficient mRNA production and protein expression in mammalian cells.

Your DNA Template

Whether using our DNA templates or yours, we produce and deliver RNA matching your specific requirements. Your template sequences are stored, to let you order new batches quickly and cost-effectively.

Sequence optimization is an integral part of our approach. We perform codon optimization to enhance protein expression while reducing the potential for immunogenic sequences and minimizing the formation of truncated mRNA products.

Tailored capping and nucleotide modifications

Our flexible mRNA workflow enables the incorporation of a wide range of modifications to meet the requirements of your application. Depending on your needs, mRNA can be produced with Cap1, Cap0 or uncapped, using either co-transcriptional or enzymatic capping.

Modified nucleotides, including N1-methylpseudouridine (N1-Me-Ψ), 5-methoxyuridine (5moU), pseudouridine (Ψ) and 5-methylcytidine (5meC), can be incorporated to reduce mRNA immunogenicity.

For applications requiring mRNA tracking, the integration of nucleotides labelled with fluorescent dyes is also possible, enabling visualization of mRNA delivery and intracellular localization.
Combining a reporter mRNA (e.g. eGFP) with a fluorescently labelled nucleotide (e.g. Cy5) provides information on both mRNA delivery and protein expression within the same cellular system.

Purification and quality control

RNA purification is performed using silica-coated magnetic beads in a fully automated process. Additional purification steps can be performed upon request, including oligo(dT)-based selection of poly(A)-tailed RNA and dsRNA removal.

RNA quality is assessed at multiple levels, including purity, size and integrity, with additional QC analyses such as endotoxin level, dsRNA content and poly(A) tail length available upon request.
