bPAC BacMam - 10mL - 10mL

Blue-light activated adenylyl cyclase (bPAC) packaged in BacMam for expression in mammalian cells. When exposed to blue light, bPAC will produce cyclic AMP without any additional proteins or cofactors. BacMam provides even, near 100% transduction efficiency in HEK293 cells as well as expression in many other cell lines, iPSCs, and primary cultures. Expression is easily titrateable to your experimental needs or to adjust assay sensitivity. Co-express with red fluorescent Montana Molecular sensors for cyclic AMP to monitor intracellular cAMP levels in real-time. This kit includes bPAC BacMam and 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O.
